Today’s Devotion

God conquered evil His way— He submitted Himself to death on a cross, a death of One who brought life to many. In God’s sight, we are worth dying for. The thought must never grow casual with those of us who have believed. Jesus’ death was a costly one. He died a sinful person’s death and absorbed the full punishment for sinful behavior. The sins were ours, but the death was His.
