Love God
You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your strength. -Deuteronomy 6:5

At Flemingsburg Baptist Church, we believe that the discipleship process begins with loving God. Through meaningful and relevant worship and Bible study, people of any age can grow to a closer relationship to Him, and, in turn, begin to fulfill His perfect will for their life.
Our youth group meets twice every Sunday to do just that— to seek God through worshiping Him, learning from His Word, and spending time with other believers in Christ. Each Sunday morning, we meet for Sunday School. This is a fun time of Bible study, games, and life lessons. Lessons here coordinate with the adult Bible studies in the other Sunday School classes offered at FBC. This allows parents and their students the opportunity to discuss Biblical issues in the home.
On Sunday evenings, the Youth Group meets again for a time of worship and fellowship. This time is meant to encourage, as well as challenge, the youth in attendance and allow response time for students who have not yet placed their trust in Jesus Christ. Common activities for Sunday night include playing games, eating snacks (a lot of them…), doing service activities, spending time getting to know one another, and digging into God’s Word. The Youth Group will be beginning a new study in January 2008 on Sunday evenings entitled “The Life of Christ,” which will take students on a journey through Christ’s years of public ministry and offer them practical application of the basics of our faith into their everyday lives.
If you’re not already involved in the youth ministries at FBC, we’d love to have you be a part. Join us any Sunday morning or evening or at special events throughout the year!
